Better Than One

So full disclosure, Cerberus is probably my favorite good boi from all of mythology. There is just something extra charming about a pupper with three heads.

I wanted to bring some of that energy into a beastie, but I still wanted it to be a beastie, not just a copy of Cerberus. This is the result, and frankly I’m super pleased with it. Each head has it’s own characteristics and personality. The body and light fur texture have a great feel and weight. They have wings for a bit of playfullness, and three tails because I know which end of the dog is really the dangerous one.

I’m perhaps most proud of the bone, which I purposefully gave a little edge too like it was a molded plastic squeaky toy. (No molding is ever used in my process, I added that edge in by hand just for aesthetics!)

Basically, I love them. I’m not sure they have a braincell to share between their three heads, but that just makes them all the more lovable.
