Now this is a complicated pair! The big one is straight forward enough. A bit bushy around the edges. Flat teeth so maybe a herbivore of some sort. Then the one inside has not just one pair of sharp teeth, but a second mouth in it’s belly! Between the three sets of chompers here, these beasties can probably eat just about anything.

Or at least give it a good try!

My “Beasties within Beasties” or just ‘double beasties’ are the first statues that I broke off into their own series. They are always a unique challenge to create. The smallest figure is always made first, and then the larger figure built around it. This leads to a lot of intuitive playing around and the results are never quite what I expect.

Which is probably why they are some of my favorite things to make.
